With Flo we woke up at 5 .45am to see the sunrise. We had very nice colors in the sky but the sun was behind a hill. Then we went back to sleep and few minutes after that we had a huge breakfast!

First stop at Tongue Bay on the biggest island, the Whitsunday Island. We had 3 hours to see a nice look out on the Whitehaven Beach and go on this beach. That was amazing, so beautifull. On this island we walked just near a black snake, he wasn’t afraid about us, that was crazy. We saw a goana as well, a big lezard.

Then we made a race with another boat. That was really fun!!!

We stopped again in Loncheon Bay on Hook Island where we made snorkeling. But there was too many people this time. Anyway, we saw a lot of fishes, that was amazing. But sometimes we could see dead corals, that’s the sign of the ‘too many people here’.

We stopped finally in Stone Heaven Bay to sleep. I had again a great sunset. We had a BBQ and tonight we could see the milkyway and an other galaxy. So amazing.

Avec Flo nous nous sommes réveillées à 5h45 pour voir le lever du soleil. Nous avons eu de superbes couleurs dans le ciel mais le soleil était caché derrière une colline. Nous sommes retournées nous coucher et peu de temps après nous avons eu un petit déjeuner énorme.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés à Tongue Bay sur la plus grande île de l’archipel : Whitsunday Island. Nous avons pu rester sur cette île pendant 3 bonnes heures, voir un look out sur la Whitehaven Beach et y aller. C’était absolument magnifique, eau d’un bleu indescriptipble, et des bancs de sable blanc. Nous sommes passées à côté d’un serpent fin et noir. Il ne nous a pas calculé, par contre nous oui, on avait un peu peur de passer à côté de lui. Nous avons aussi vu un gros lézard appelé Goana.

Retour au bateau pour manger et nous avons fait la course avec un autre, c’était super !!!!

Deuxième arrêt à Loncheon Bay sur la Hook Island pour faire du snorkeling. Il y avait vraiment beaucoup de monde mais nous y avons vu des poissons vraiment très beaux, c’était très impressionnant. Seul point négatif, nous avons pu aussi voir des coraux morts… qui signifie bien une sur affluence de touristes et là on ne se sent pas vraiment à sa place.

Nous avons passé la nuit à Stone Heaven Bay. A nouveau un coucher de soleil impressionnant et observation des étoiles. Nous avons vu la ‘milkyway’ et après une long temps de reflexion nous avons compris que c’était la voie lactée… oops. Johnny nous a aussi montré une autre galaxie. Vraiment trop beau, on ne s’en lasse pas. Nous avons eu droit à un BBQ !
