J'ai pris le premier ferry a 9h pour traverser jusque l'ile du sud. Apres 3h j'etais a Picton et j'ai continue ma route direct direction Takaka sur la Golden Bay au nord ouest de l'ile du sud. Entre Picton et Nelson il ne faisait pas beau mais ca allait encore, la route semblait etre magnifique mais avec la grisaille bof bof. Et de Nelson a Takaka j'ai eu un temps hallucinant : fortes pluies comme j'ai pas vu depuis longtemps, tout ca sur des routes de montagnes sinueuses. Idem ca semblait trop beau avec plein de points de vus mais encore une fois j'ai rien vu du tout ^^ Mais la route s'est bien passee quand meme sans problemes.

I took the first ferry at 9am to go to the south island. Took 3 hours, it's been raining raining and raining again ! ^^ I arrived at Picton at 12pm and started to drive straight away to go to go wwoofing in Takaka on the Golden Bay, north west of the south island. The drive until Nelson was ok even if under the rain. And then from Nelson to Takaka it's been terrible, heavy rains with mountainy road... but I did it without troubles.
