This day we woke up really early with Bérangère to go to the city doing some... SHOPPING !!!! To change... oops! At Martin Place there was lot of old people around the World War 2 Memorial. It was amazing. We don't realize the importance of this war in Australia, seems to be more important than in France. Then we've been to the Opera House where I booked a ticket to see Carmina Burana by the Sydney philharmonia choirs on Friday evening. So happy !!!! Then we joined Nicolas n°1 to his work "Vienna Design" near Martin Place to have lunch with him. Then with Bérangère we took a dessert at Lindt café on Martin Place. We had REAL chocolate eclairs... SO GOOOD !!!!! Then I've been to work. And after work with Nico n°2 and Douglas we joined Cathy and Wagner her boyfriend to the Green Park Pub in the same street. It was really nice. There was 2 flippers !!! I love that ! We played pool and at the end Wagner offered me a flipper game !!! With Douglas and Nico we finished the night in a café, drinking a Hot chocolate !

Nous avons commencé la journée très tôt avec Bérangère pour aller en ville faire du... SHOPPING !!! Pour changer... Sur Martin Place il y avait un gros rassemblement d'ancien combattants ou un truc du genre pour la 2eme guerre mondiale. Tout ça avec 3 drapeaux français et un australien, une fanfare etc... C'était assez impressionnant. Ici ça à l'air d'avoir une grande importance alors qu'en France on ne réalise pas vraiment que les australiens sont venus nous aidé et que pour les commemoration il n'y a presque plus personne qui vient. Bref, nous avons été très impressionnées. Ensuite on est allé à l'opéra où je me suis acheté un ticket pour aller voir Carmina Burana chanté par le choeur philharmonique de Sydney. C'était 55$ la meilleure place. C'est Peter, un petit vieu qui vient tous les jours boire son café à la pâtisserie qui m'a montré un article la veille à ce sujet. Il connait bien mes goûts musicaux et savait que j'aimais ça. Je lui ai proposé de m'y amener mais il se couche tôt et ça allait un peu perturber ses habitudes... c'est vraiment dommage. Ensuite on a rejoind Nico n°1 à son boulot "Vienna Design", un cabinet d'archi pas loin de Martin Place et on est allé manger avec lui. Puis on l'a abandonné et nous sommes allées prendre le dessert chez Lindt : un vrai éclair au chocolat!!! Délicieux !!!!!! Puis boulot boulot ! Après la boulot avec douglas et Nico n°2 nous avons rejoind Cathy et Wagner son copain au Green Park, un pub dans la même rue. Super sympas, il n'y avait pas grand monde, on a joué au billard et à la fin Wagner m'a offert une partie de flipper ! GENIAL !!! Avec Douglas et Nico nous avons fini la soirée dans un petit café ouvert 24h/24 avec un chocolat chaud.
