Until Katherine we stopped few times but quickly. There was not a lot of things to do and see and we couldn’t access the only things we could see because of rain and flooded roads!

So after the Devils Marbels we stopped in Tennant Creek just few hours at the Ann Mary Dam where we could take a shower for free!

Then we stopped in Elliott in a petrol station to get some fresh drinks. This place was amazing for us because instead of flies there was heaps of butterflies, but it was really amazing!!! And  all was green, with lot of different trees. And of course lot of rain! In the ladies  toilet of this station we laught a lot because there was a green frog inside and Lisa didn’t see that. But it was a really beautifull frog!

On 28^th we slept in Daly Waters at a really nice campsite, the ‘Daly Waters Pub’, and only for 5$/person (we payed only 2 people...)

In Mataranka we wanted to see natural thermal pool, but the road was flooded and we don’t have a 4WD... so we went directly to Katherine.

Jusqu’à Katherine nous nous sommes arrêtées quelques fois mais rapidement. Il n’y avait pas grand-chose à voir et le peu de choses que l’on aurait pu voir étaient inaccessibles à cause des pluies et des roues innondées.

Donc après les Devils Marbles nous nous sommes arrêtées à Tennant Creek pour quelques heures au bord du Lac Ann Mary où nous avons pu prendre une douche gratuite !!!

Puis nous nous sommes arrêtées à Elliott à une station service pour acheter des boissons fraîches. Ce village était étonnant parce qu’au lieu des centaines de millier de mouches, il y avait des centaines de millier de papillons, mais vraiment un truc de OUF ! hihi ! Et tout était bien vert, avec plein d’arbres différents. Et bien sûr on a eu droit à des pluies énormes en voiture aussi. Dans les toilettes des femmes on a bien rigolé car il y avait une grenouille verte toute mimie dans la cuvette. Et Lisa ne s’en était pas apperçue. Bref je vous laisse imaginer !

Le 28 nous avons dormi à Daly Water dans un camping très sympas attenant au ‘Daly Waters Pub’. Et pour seulement 5$/personne, et bien sûr on n’a payé que pour 2 personnes…

A Mataranka nous voulions voir une piscine naturelle thermale, mais la route était innondée. Un 4x4 juste devant nous a pu passer mais hors de question pour notre jolie voiture… Donc nous sommes allées direct à Katherine.
