Ce jour là avec Cathy c'était notre journée, c'est à dire, shopping ensemble et ensuite découverte de Newtown, quartier réputé de Sydney mais où en un an je n'étais absolument jamais allée. Bon nous avons quand même admis Nico dans notre journée filles... il fait partie de la bande :-) Notre séance shopping n'a pas été très fructueuses, économies obligent. Direction ensuite Newtown, avec son ambiance complètement différente de celle du centre de Sydney : plus de population noire, beaucoup beaucoup de gothiques, des cafés et restaurants tous les 5 mètres, et plein de magasins sympas et en tous genres. L'art est un peu plus présent : comme des jeunes qui dessinent et peignent sur des cartons et vendent leurs oeuvres sur donations dans la rue, graffitis sur les murs, musique etc. J'ai adoré ça. C'était vraiment une journée sympas !!!

 Bon la fin de la journée l'a moins été, avec une aventure de dingue... mais ça sera dans le prochaine message ! :-)

Today was OUR day with cathy. So in the morning we did a bit of shopping together in the city but finally didn't buy so many things. Then we decided to go to Newtown with Nico who joined us. It's crazy but it was the first time in one year that I went to this so famous place, everybody likes it so much. And I was pretty surprised, like completly different atmosphere, with more black people, a lot of gothics people, heaps of cafes/restaurants, and a lot of nice and funny shops. There was as well more arts : people drawing and painting in the street on paper boxes, graffitis on walls. I love that ! So a really nice day !!!

Then something kind of crazy happened but.... it will be on the next message !!
