With Flo we made a big planning of our 3 next weeks because we don’t really have the time. My canadian friend Brian was doing the east coast in the opposite way, and we defenetly had to see us before he leaves Australia. He is one of the people I met here that I really want to keep in touch. He’s the first backpacker I talked with in Australia, and was my room mate at the Pink House backpacker. So we decided to meet us in Magnetic Island for one day and we booked the same backpacker for one night. So we met him and Allison his friend here.

We made a nice hike to see the Forts. Then we went to Alma Bay to chill out and talk. And in the evening there was a Toads Race at the backpacker. A man was introducing us each toads and the people had to say how much they wanted to pay for a toad until the biggest price. Then the race could beggin. That was really funny!!!!!!!! Next day Brian and Allison had to go away and we spent our morning to the Alma beach with Florine. Brian is leaving Australia on may 12^th, so that was sad to tell good bye, but we’ll see us again somewhere in the world : Canada?China?France?

Avec Flo on s’est préparé un planning de fou pour nos 3 semaines jusqu’à Sydney parce que nous n’avons pas le temps de trainer et nous avons plein de reservations de faites : tours opérateurs et chambres gratuites en backpackers etc. Mon ami canadien Brian remontait la côte Est alors que nous la descendions, et nous devions absolument nous voir avant qu’il ne quitte l’Australie. Il fait partie des gens que j’ai rencontré ici avec qui je veux absolument garder contact. C’est le premier ‘backpacker’ à qui j’ai parlé ici en Australie, il était mon colloc’ de chambre à l’auberge de jeunesse. Donc nous avions planifié de nous revoir à Magnetic Island pour un jour en réservant le même backpacker pour une nuit. Nous l’avons donc rejoind là avec Allison, une amie à lui qui l’a rejoind pour un mois en Australie. Nous avons fait une grande rando pour aller voir les Forts de l’île. Ensuite nous sommes allés nous reposer et discuter à Alma Bay. Et le soir au backpacker il y avait une course de crapauds. Un monsieur présentait les crapauds un par un et les gens devaient enchérir pour miser sur un crapauds. C’était vraiment trop trop drôle ! Le lendemain Allison et Brian sont partis tôt pour faire de la plongée pendant 4 jours et avec Flo nous avons passé la matinée sur la plage d’Alma Bay avant de revenir sur le continent et retrouver notre voiture. Brian quitte l’Australie le 12 mai, c’était triste de se dire au revoir mais on se reverra ailleurs dans le monde : Canada ? Chine ? France ?
