Le week end dernier avec mon coloc  Nico nous avons pris le déjeuner dans un endroit appelé "Le pain quotidien"... Bien évidemment ce genre de choses font "tilt" chez nous ! :-) Un boulanger français avec qui j'avais discuté quelques semaines auparavent m'en avait dit du bien, que c'était un des rares endroits où on peut acheter du BON pain à Sydney. C'est donc une boulangerie mais aussi un café. Je n'ai pas pu résité à un chocolat chaud et j'ai craqué pour des tartines au jambon et moutarde. Le chocolat chaud était vraiment très très bon avec du vrai chocolat fondu d'un côté, le lait de l'autre et hop on se fait son petit mélange suivant nos goûts dans le petit bol. Les tartines étaient aussi très bonnes, tout juste ce qu'il faut pour être rassasié sans pour autant avoir trop manger.  Et puis, nous avons terminé en se partageant une ... CHOCOLATIIIIIIIIINE (pain au chocolat pour les parisiens... hein!?) qui était vraiment très très bonne ! Nous sommes repartis enchantés avec 2 bons pains sous les bras ! Nous y retournerons très certainement !

Last week end with my house mate Nico we had lunch at the place called "Le pain quotidien" in Surry Hills on Fitzroy St I think. I heard about it few weeks ago by meeting a french baker who told me they were making good bread there. So it's a bakery, but café as well. I couldn't resist to a hot chocolate and took a ham leg "tartines". The hot chocolate was absolutly great with the milk and real melted chocolate in 2 differents jars so you can combine both following your taste. Yummy ! The tartines were really nice as well, just enought to feel like not having too much food but not beeing hungry anymore as well. We shared a chocolate croissant which was very very good as well and we bought bread as well to take back home, so good to have good real bread ! We will defenetly be back !
