I was planning for a long time to see Carmen a the Opera House, and finally this time came ! ! ! ! ! It's very special for me because I sang it with the choral I used to sing with in France few years ago. And to see a real big one was like a dream for me.

It was really nice, I really enjoyed it. The stage was beautifull, costumes, dancers... AMAZING ! The only thing is that the singers were not french, and sometimes the prononciation was not so good... AND I was a little bit desappointed by Carmen... she was may be too much like a truck driver and not the beautiful and attractive Carmen I had in my mind... ^^

Je zieutais le programme de l'opéra depuis très très longtemps pour guetter si Carmen allait passer et ce jour là est enfin arrivé ! ! ! ! ! Très spécial pour moi car nous avions chanté Carmen avec la chorale dont je faisais partie il y a quelques années maintenant. Et de voir une vraie grosse représentation de Carmen était comme un rêve pour moi.

C'était donc vraiment extra, j'ai beaucoup apprécié. La mise en scène était superbes, les costumes idem, très bons danceurs... Vraiment BEAUTIFUL !!! La seule chose c'est que les solistes n'étaient pas francophones et donc c'était pas toujours bien terrible au niveau de la prononciation... ET AUSSI, j'ai été très déçue quant au choix de Carmen... elle faisait plutôt camioneuse que séductrice, mais bon... ^^
